Mission Statement

It is the mission of ILCSM to make Southeast Missouri barrier-free for ALL persons with disabilities, enabling them to live more independently, extending their rights to control and direct their own lives, and empowering them to live productive lifestyles. We assist persons with disabilities in showing them how to achieve their independence.

 Philosophy

“ALL persons, regardless of disability, are entitled to and should have equal access to the rights and responsibilities that other citizens are provided; to be as active and productive a member of society as they choose.  Our MOTTO is: Control over one’s own life, by making CHOICES that in turn bring about change.”
